Two-day workshop on "Strategic Corporate Communication" was held at Mumbai on 6th and 7th Jan., 06.  This workshop was organised by MPower Business Facilitators Limited, a leading HR Consultants and Trainers with the support of Prime Point Foundation. Programme leader was K. Srinivasan, Chairman of the Foundation.

The workshop covered the areas of Emergence of PR as a Management tool in today's scenario, Media Relations, Internal Communication, Internet Communication and Crisis Communication Management, etc. Professionals from leading Corporates participated in the programme.  Eminent experts also shared their views with the participants.

Mr Ravi Srinivasan, National Business Editor of Hindustan Times at Mumbai shared his views on the role of Media and the communication professionals in bringing out transparently the information to the public.

Mr Prasad Kerkar, Asst. Editor of Loksatta, a leading Marati daily emphasised the role of language media in India for influencing the perception of people.  He also explained with data, the reach of language media.

The workshop emphasised the need for  (a) professional and transparent approach of communication professionals in image management and crisis management  (b) Role of corp communicators in the internal branding (c) Effective use of various PR tools, including internet for communication with stakeholders.  (Group of participants are seen in the picture)
